We’re pleased to receive the Manager and Player of the Month awards for February.

Andy Graham’s men completed February with a perfect record of five consecutive wins. It’s the longest League winning run that Alloa have recorded since 2012.

Taylor Steven also picked up the Player of the Month award with a fine run of goals and assists through the month from the on-loan St Johnstone winger.

The manager had his say on the awards:

A big congratulations to Taylor Steven on winning player of the month for February. Taylor has scored and set up some big goals but just as pleasing to see is how hard he has worked in those games. I’m sure Taylor would be first to acknowledge the contribution his team mates have also made in February and the full squad deserve the recognition.

When these awards are given out it is always a team effort. Niall Marshall, Paddy Connelly and Rab Glen deserve as much credit as me as does everyone else that puts in a great deal of effort behind the scenes to make Alloa as good a place to work as it can be and Pat, Carol, Robert and Joyce who’ve been a continued support for me settling into this new role. A special mention as well to the medical team Scott Anderson and Allan White who have came in mid season which is never easy but have been great additions.
