Signed on loan from Motherwell in September last year he quickly formed an excellent partnership with Stanger in the Alloa defence. Standing at 6’3″ he’s a handy defender in the air and comfortable on the ball.

Unfortunately, David’s run in the first team was curtailed by injury before popping up again at the business end of the season, firstly securing a fourth place finish and then producing a couple heroic efforts in the playoffs.

David’s still just 21 (for another few days at time of writing) but his potential for years to come was clear to everyone who watched him last season and we’re pleased to have secured him on a permanent contract. Welcome back to the Wasps David!
