Alloa Athletic have been drawn in the South section for the first time since the new format of the Scottish League cup was introduced.

Alloa, seeded second for last seasons’ 8th place finish in the Championship, were drawn alongside the Premiership’s Livingston in group H.

Joining the two top seeds are League 1 Airdrieonians and last year’s League 2 runners up Edinburgh City along with fellow League 2 side Stenhousemuir.
