    Alloa Athletic Excellence Nights
    Players Aged 7 – 16 Years
Alloa Athletic are looking to provide FREE training to selected kids, boys and girls, resident in Clackmannanshire, with the intention of improving their technical football ability. Sessions will be lead by the Alloa Athletic first team coach and a further team of qualified SFA coaches. The development squads will also work closely with the Clubs Pro Youth Coaches.
The aim is to provide a rounded player with improved technical skills and increased knowledge in areas such as Diet and Nutrition, Strength and Conditioning, Fitness Monitoring etc. However the emphasis will be on improving the individual’s skills and there is no intention to form any teams or play representative football.  Given this the Club would welcome players who are currently playing with teams, who might benefit from some additional specialist high level coaching. Such players would be welcome to attend the excellence sessions but remain as players for their existing clubs. The Club intends to run a series of trials to make the selection of the initial development squad and these will take place at Recreation Park on:
     Tuesday 26th April, 4.30 – 5.30pm                 Ages 7 – 11 years
     Thurs 28th April , 4.30 – 5.30pm.                   Ages 12 – 16 years
Please Note: Places are limited and will be based on a selection process. This selection process will be ongoing and players continued places on the programme will be related to their performance and progress. Players MAY also be selected for a fixed period of time e.g. to work on a specific aspect of their game.
If you are interested as a player, parent or club manager, please contact James Ward on 01259 722695 for further details or to register for one of the trials.
    James is available:
