The Wasps lost the first of a double header fixture against Forfar Athletic who have now stretched their lead above us and have five game in hand, having lost the last five league matches the club are stuck in one of their poorest runs of form for a long while and the pressure to return to winning form is showing on the players, management and fans of the club. The first half of the game had been fairly even but two pieces of great football changed the game completely. Alloa were pressing hard for the opening goal just on the hour mark, Forfar Athletic clear the ball through Barry Sellars pin point pass from 40 yards finding Ross Campbell who netted on the break. The killer second goal was fitting to win any game a wonder strike again from Ross Campbell from a good 35 yards. Everyone at the club is hurting just now and we must work to rediscover our winning form and not get dragged into a relegation fight.
