    Tough game at Methil

    Friday, April 02, 2010 6:13:29 AM

Manager Allan Maitland goes into this weeks game against East Fife at Bayview with seven first team regulars missing – John Grant, Andy Scott, Mark Brown and Scott Walker are all suspended, while Mark Gilhaney, Kevin Welsh and Dougie Wilson will miss out through injury. Bryan Prunty who was injured against Stirling Albion on 23rd March will be given late fitness test to give him every chance of playing in such an important fixture for the club. The manager again strengthened his squad in midweek by signing 20 year old midfielder Chris Craig who had been released by Dumbarton until the end of the season. East Fife had a great result in midweek defeating fellow promotion hopefuls Brechin City 2-0, with ex Wasp John Ovenstone and Paul McManus on the scoresheet building on their good home form. We now are entering the final six games of the season when all teams will be giving their best, so we will need to focus on one game at a time and look to pick up more valuable league points.
