Saturday's Scottish Football League Irn Bru Divison Two match against Clyde is still very much in doubt as the Broadwood pitch is still suffering the effects of the big freeze. Whilst we are experiencing a slight improvement in weather conditions the match is very much in doubt for Saturday 16th January, 2010, the game will not be switched to Recreation Park, Alloa.

On a more positive note, manager Allan Maitland has strenghened his squad by signing Bryan Prunty on a one and a half year contract. Bryan who celebrated his 27th birthday yesterday had joined Stirling Albion on loan from Ayr United on 17th November, 2009 until 16th January, 2010, but has now been released by Ayr United. Bryan began his career with Glasgow Celtic as a youth before spells with Aberdeen and Inverness Caledonian Thistle, joining Airdrie United in 2005. He was the club's 2005/06 Player of the Year and joined Ayr United in May, 2008 and helped them win promotion to the First Division last season. The manager will continue to look to stenghen his squad in the transfer window.
