    "The Wasps" continued their build up to the start on the new season with a "Closed Door" friendly against Dectectionfoot, France, today Saturday 6th July, 2019 at the Indodrill Stadium.

    Dectectionfoot, France are a group of players who are looking to gain a professional contract. The group of French players are in Scotland and are hoping to impress and get recruited by Scottish or English clubs.
    The visitors took the lead in their first real venture up field when a shot from No. 14 Dramane Sissoko was saved by Chris Henry but thr rebound was netted by the impressive No. 11 Mickael Gaougaou. The home side fought back into the game and Adam Brown scored his second goal of the pre season with a speculative long range drive which the French keeper completely misjudged 1-1.
    Just prior to half-time the French side might have snatched the lead when their No. 13 Calvin Tshilumba was unfortunate to see his shot strike the outside of the junction of bar and post and go wide.

    At half-time it was agreed that four of the unused French players would play for "The Wasps" to allow all the players in their group the be given match time.
    Mickael Gaougaou then scored his second goal of the game this time from the penalty spot after he had been fouled in the box.

    There then followed a stream of substitutions with "The Wasps" only having three recognised first team in their eleven - Neil Parry, Scott Taggart & Adam Brown as most of the home players watched the latter part of the game from the sidelines.

    The game ended 3-1 to the visitors when No. 7 Yoan De Azevedo broke through to score a third.
    Next Pre Season friendly will be on Tuesday night 9th July, when Alloa Athletic take on Livingston at the Indodrill Stadium, Kick-Off 7.45pm
