    No Pitch Inspection required

Our last home game against Hibs saw us put in one of our best performances of the season, pushing Scotland’s form team close for the full 90 minutes, even when we were down to ten men. However, we were again bitterly disappointed with the result and having no reward of points for our effort. So, we pick ourselves up, ready to go again today and put our all into the game. I firmly believe that should we continue to deliver the level of performance we saw against Hibs, we will earn the results we seek.

Today, we welcome Stephen Aitken and his Dumbarton side to play for the prize of three very important Championship points. Dumbarton have won the honour of being Scotland’s highest placed part-time team in the Scottish leagues thess past few seasons. After a long run of being undefeated against us in recent years, we have started to turn the tide on them and have won our last two encounters. There is little to choose between our two clubs at the moment, so we will have to be at our very best to earn the positive result we want from today’s game, but that is exactly our aim. With your help as our 12th man, let’s make our home advantage count. Get right behind the team, encourage our boys at every opportunity and enjoy the game.
