William Hill Scottish Cup 4th Round Draw

The draw for the fourth round of the William Hill Scottish Cup took place at Hampden Park this afternoon. It is always difficult to get to enthusiastic about a 4th round draw when your team has still to play their 3rd round tie which makes any outcome hypothetical!

However the winners of the Dumbarton v. Alloa Athletic tie face the prospect of a home draw against fellow Championship side Queen of the South. There are two all-Premiership clashes as Heart of Midlothian take on Aberdeen and 2013/14 winners St Johnstone host Kilmarnock. Holders Inverness Caledonian Thistle will take on Stirling Albion and there's a glamour tie for League One Stranraer who host 36-time winners Celtic.

Scotland National Team Assistant Stuart McCall – who won the famous trophy three times as a player at Rangers – helped draw the balls alongside Scottish FA President Alan McRae.
